Leeds City Councillor
Cllr. Barry Anderson has been a Leeds City Councillor since 1999 and is very experienced in a number of policy areas – the Environment, Housing, Communities, Planning, Road Safety, Policing and Transport. He is a School Governor at Cookridge Holy Trinity Primary School. He is the spokesman for Housing, Planning and Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. He sits on a number of Committees and currently Chairs the West Yorkshire Combined Authority Scrutiny Board, is a member of the Kirkgate Market Board, the Climate Emergency Advisory Committee, and the Housing Board. He is proud to serve the local community and has a record of Action and Service. He always puts residents before politics.
