Leeds City Council is holding an election for all 99 council seats on 3 May 2018. The Conservative candidates for Adel & Wharfedale Ward are the three currently sitting councillors. Cllr. Barry Anderson has been a Councillor 19 years and is very experienced in a number of policy areas – the Environment, Housing, Communities, Planning, Road Safety, Policing and Transport. He is a School Governor at Cookridge Holy Trinity and Cookridge Primary. He is proud to serve the local community and has a record of Action and Service. He always puts residents before politics.
Cllr. Caroline Anderson was elected to Council in 2015. She is the Shadow Spokesman for the Conservative Group on Adult Social Care and has interests in the Environment, Education and Community Safety. She is on the Adult Social Care and Public Health Scrutiny Board and the West Yorkshire Fire Authority and a School Governor at Adel St. John the Baptist and Bramhope Primary Schools.
Cllr. Billy Flynn is married with 3 sons and has lived in Adel for nearly 24 years. Self-employed and served in the 4th (V) Batallion the Parachute Regiment for 29 years. Two sons are in West Yorks Police and the other in electronics project management. Served as a councillor for 4 years. Interests are meeting residents, public health, adult social care, services for vulnerable children, road safety and preventing inappropriate development.
